After watching Gold Rush, on Discovery Channel, we decided to try our hand at mining for gold. Being that our Grandfather, Udo Wartena, was a miner, we felt that we be able to be successful since it was 'in our blood'.
Our mine is located in Nevada and the following are some pictures.
This is the entrance to the main mine located on our site. It goes back about 50 feet, with a short 6 foot drift about halfway into the mine.
